Two actors Raymundo Gurdano and Juan Francisco Aguilar from a Netflix original series- The Chosen One died in a road accident on the way to the airport as their van crashed and flipped in Mexico. There were six others injured in an accident. The shoot has been on hold for time being. As reported by Deadline, a company named Refdrum has suspended the production of the Netflix series, which was backing the shoot.
Netflix has not yet commented on the mishap that took place in Mexico on June 16 while on the way to a local airport. The cast and crew were riding in the van when it crashed and flipped on a desert road near Mulege on the Baja California Sur peninsula. The shoot was being held in the nearby areas in Santa Rosalia.

The victims were not initially identified at the time of the accident. The Baja California Department of Culture later identified the ones who succumbed to death as the actors Raymundo Garduno Cruz and Juan Francisco Gonzalez Aguilar who were filing for the show. The injured cast members are in stable condition now. As per Fox News, there is no comment on the incident that took place from the production company and how it affected its production.
The Chosen One is a 2019 thriller Netflix original and till now there are two seasons that have come up. The show is based on the comic book American Jesus by Mark Millar and Peter Gross. The SpotboyE team’s condolence is with the bereaved family.
