Salman Khan's Brother Sohail Khan Rents Out Mumbai's Bandra Property To The Irish House For ₹16.89 Lakh Per Month!

Actor-producer Sohail Khan has leased out his commercial property in Mumbai’s Bandra West area to the popular pub chain, The Irish House, for a monthly rent of ₹16.89 lakh. The agreement was officially signed on April 11, 2024, and the lease period extends for five years. The property includes a basement and ground floor space, covering a total area of 4,500 square feet.
As per the agreement details, the rent will see an escalation of 15% every three years. In addition to the monthly rental payment, The Irish House has also provided a security deposit amounting to ₹50.67 lakh. The new outlet is expected to add further vibrancy to Bandra’s already lively social scene, given The Irish House’s reputation for offering a mix of energetic ambiance, food, and drinks.
Sohail Khan, who is known not only for his work in films but also for his real estate investments, owns multiple properties across Mumbai. Leasing out commercial spaces has become a growing trend among celebrities who are using their assets for steady rental income and strategic partnerships with major brands and franchises.
This development mirrors similar property dealings in the entertainment industry, where celebrities are increasingly leveraging prime locations for commercial gains. Salman Khan, for example, recently leased a commercial space on Linking Road in Santacruz to a retail company for ₹1 crore per month, and also rented out a Bandra apartment for ₹1.5 lakh monthly.
The Irish House’s expansion into this Bandra location demonstrates its focus on strengthening its footprint in Mumbai’s competitive hospitality market. The collaboration between Sohail Khan and the pub chain reflects the rising synergy between celebrity-owned real estate and lifestyle businesses, pointing to a mutually beneficial model for both property owners and retail brands.
