Shakira announced her split with football player Gerard Pique after 11 years of togetherness earlier this month. Now, reports suggest that she is being harassed by the stalkers and they have even sent her letters directly at her residence.
According to the reports, Shakira’s family got in touch with the police and filed a complaint for the same. Shockingly, fans who are reported to be harassing her have sent letters to her Barcelona home asking her to marry them.
Well, the separation doesn’t seem to be going well for the singer.
Fans are highly upset over Shakira and Gerard’s split who were once considered one of the most iconic couples.
Reportedly, while Gerard and Shakira have moved on the two have been focusing on their work respectively. Currently, Shakira has been focusing n her work as a judge of Dancing With Myself along with Nick Jonas and her videos from the reality show are quite a hit on social media.
Now, Shakira is a single mom to her kids and during a previous interaction she even opened up about parenting her kids and she admitted that she’s worried about them. While Shakira and Gerard were very much in love, Shakira had spoken about how his love made him more punctual in life.
Earlier, the former couple had shared a joint statement about their separation. An excerpt from their statement read: “We regret to confirm that we are parting ways. For the well-being of our children, who are our highest priority, we ask that you respect their privacy. I appreciate your understanding." Shakira and Gerard share two kids.
