Indian tennis player Sania Mirza and Pakistani cricketer Shoaib Malik were one of the most sought-after couples. They set out relationship goals for many of their fans, however, the news of their separation left everyone heartbroken. Through all the speculations a name that popped constantly was of Pakistani actress and YouTuber Ayesha Omar. It was heavily rumoured that the actress’ closeness to the cricketer was the reason behind the separation.
In a recent interaction, she has now opened up about the link-up rumours with the cricketer. Speaking about the same, on The Shoaib Akhtar Show,Ayesha revealed that she will never be attracted to men who are either married or committed. zStressing on the same fact, she expressed that everyone she knows and people who know her are aware of the fact. The host further questioned her about the ‘revealing’ photoshoot with Shoaib Malik that grabbed headlines. He revealed how it had become quite controversial, to which she responded with, “Yaahan nahi thi, woh across the border thi.”
Earlier, ETimes had quoted Ayesha refuting the rumours. She had said, “Jee nahin. Bilkul nahi. Un kee shadi hoe we hai aur who apnee biwi kay saath bohat khush hai. Main donon @realshoaibmalik aur @saniamirza kee bohat respect kartee hoon.Shoaib aur mein achay dost aur ek doosray kay kherkhwa hai. Bohat respect kartay hain. For the unversed, Sania and Shoaib got married in April 2010. The couple welcomed their son, Izhaan Mirza Malik, eight years later. It is being heavily rumoured that Shoaib Malik cheated on Sania with model Ayesha Omar. Their intimate photos from a photo shoot went viral on social media, with many wondering if Ayesha was the reason behind the couple’s split.
Last year, UrduFlix announced a reality show, The Mirza Malik Show, starring Shoaib and Sania. As soon as the show's poster was released, netizens concluded that their separation rumours were a sham and labelled it a 'publicity stunt.'
