VIDEO: Atif Aslam’s concert gets cancelled in Gurgaon
Here's the latest update from the world of Bollywood. We bet you wouldn't want to miss this. Read on for details... The Pakistani singer is in for a rude shock!
Singer Atif Aslam becomes
the latest Pakistani artist to face the brunt of the entire Pakistan-MNS
controversy.
The singing sensation from
across the border was in for a shock when he was informed that his concert in
Gurgaon, Delhi has been cancelled after the leaders from the right wing Hindu
party, Akhil Bhartiya Hindu Kranti Dal called for banning all the Pakistani
artists across the country. Atif's concert was scheduled for October 15, 2016.
The decision comes in the
wake of the Uri attacks responsible for the loss of the lives of 18 brave
Indian soldiers.
Akhil Bhartiya Hindu Kranti
Dal has submitted a memorandum to the deputy commissioner which demanded the
cancellation of the show.
The letter reads, “If the
event takes place, and any incident happens because of it, the district
administration will be responsible”.
The letter blames the
authorities for “playing with the sentiments of the country by giving Pakistani
artistes permission to perform here. Soldiers are losing their lives at the
border because of Pakistan-sponsored terrorism.”
The organizers are planning
to refund the money of the people who bought the tickets. Not just Atif’s,
singer Shafqat Amanat Ali's concert, which was scheduled for 30th
Sep, 2016 in Bengaluru, has also been called off due to similar pressures.
SpotboyE.com was the first
one to tell you about Rahat Fateh Ali Khan's ouster from the film Laali Ki
Shaadi Mein Ladoo Deewana, yesterday. Turns out, producer TP Aggarwal is
already looking out for an Indian singer to replace Rahat.
