you all the action from the on-going Lakme Fashion Week Winter/Festive 2016.
After Arjun Kapoor strutted on the ramp for designer Sahil Aneja (Arjun Kapoor
turns showstopper at Lakme Fashion Week, Aug 24), Day 2 of the high-fashion
event had ace designer Manish Malhotra showcasing his latest collection. And
his muses for the evening – Shraddha Kapoor and Sushant Singh Rajput.
Shraddha looked regal
in her black ensemble and sleek hair. While the Half Girlfriend actress is no
stranger to the runway, it was a big moment for Sushant as the Kai Po Che actor
made his debut on the ramp. The 50-year-old designer presented his collection
at India’s first ever virtual-reality fashion show.
And considering its
Manish’s show, it goes without saying that Bollywood ladies turned up in strong
numbers to cheer for their favourite designer – and yes, in his creations, no
less. Shilpa Shetty looked radiant in a cream ensemble that she accessorised
with a statement choker. Giving her muted looks a miss, Dia Mirza upped the
ante in a red creation by Manish. Bhumi Pednekar attended the show in an
asymmetrical dress with floral motifs. Others present at the show included Sushmita
Sen, Neeti Mohan and Sophie Choudry.
