Aishwarya Rai Bachchan Signs Rakeysh Om Prakash Mehra’s Fanney Khan?

Good news for the fans of the Aishwarya Rai Bachchan who were waiting for her to return to the silver screen once again. As per a trade analyst Atul Mohan, the actress has signed her next project Fanney Khan. The film will be directed by Rakeysh Om Prakash Mehra. The film will be produced by Anil Kapoor

However, there is no official confirmation from Aishwarya or Rakeysh Om Prakash Mehra as yet. Recently, when Aishwarya walked the red carpet at the Cannes Film Festival, she interacted with a leading daily about her future projects, she said: "No, I took a break for the past five months because of personal reasons. I’m glad I did. It meant a lot for me, personally, so I didn’t have any professional meetings. I started last week and I have liked two subjects already. So, as and when, we feel the need or when the time is right, we will share the news with you." In the same interview, Aishwarya had confirmed that she had been approached for Gulab Jamun.

Last year, Anil Kapoor had revealed the first look of the film. “This #Eid, we begin a new transformation...#FanneyKhan & I embark on an exciting journey today! @RakeyshOmMehra.”

There were rumours about Priyanka Chopra also signing the project. Fanney Khan is a struggling singer who wants to make his daughter into a big name in music world.
