Amitabh Bachchan, Abhishek Bachchan, Rishi Kapoor Arrive At Vinod Khanna’s Funeral
Vinod Khanna’s last rites will soon take place at the Worli crematorium and the superstar’s collaborators including Amitabh Bachchan and Rishi Kapoor have reached the crematorium
Vinod Khanna passed away at 11.20 this morning and the news shocked and saddened the film fraternity which has now gathered at the funeral.
The deceased superstar’s wife Kavita and son Sakshi stood by Vinod Khanna’s body as the mourners poured in to pay their last respects.
Amitabh Bachchan and Abhishek Bachchan were the first ones to arrive at Worli crematorium along with Rishi Kapoor.
Abbas-Mustan, Dia Mirza, Randhir Kapoor, Randeep Hooda, Arjun Rampal and Subhash Ghai too joined the service.
The superstar’s son Akshaye was spotted rushing into the crematorium and he arrived there straight from the shoot of the Sridevi-starrer Mom.
Vinod Khanna passed away at the age of 70 after a battle with bladder cancer. He was 70.
After his death, the hospital released a statement saying: "Veteran actor and Member of Parliament Mr. Vinod Khanna, who was admitted to the Sir HN Reliance Foundation Hospital breathed his last at 11.20 am due to advanced bladder carcinoma.
Vinod Khanna is survived by wife Kavita Khanna, sons Rahul, Akshaye and Sakshi, and daughter Shraddha
Brothers Akshaye Khanna and Rahul Khanna were spotted moist eyed coming out after putting fire to the funeral pyre.
