Amitabh Bachchan Taunts Sonam Kapoor For Not Replying To ‘Birthday Message’
Amitabh Bachchan tweets to Sonam Kapoor complaining that the actress did not respond to the ‘Birthday Wishes’ he sent her on her birthday.
Seldom does it happen that any actor would miss out on a text from Amitabh Bachchan. But Sonam Kapoor could probably be the first one to not reply to the text message from the megastar. It so happened that Amitabh Bachchan had texted the Neerja actress on her birthday (9th June). But somehow the message did not reach Sonam and obviously she did not reply to the text.
This probably didn’t go well with Bachchan as he was expecting a ‘Thank You’ from Sonam -- but that didn’t happen. So today, when the actress was thanking everyone who had wished her, Amitabh tweeted to her and said: “And what about ME .. This is Amitabh Bachchan my dear .. i sent you an sms on your birthday and you never replied ..aaarrrgghh !!😡.”
Sonam must have been definitely deeply embarrassed seeing Big B’s rap on the knuckles. No sooner she saw the tweet from Bachchan, she replied to his tweet and said: “Oh my god sir!! I didn't get it!! I always reply!! Thank you so much! I got @juniorbachchan message 🙈🙈🙈 I'm so so sorry.”
Maybe Sonam didn’t see it, as she was busy celebrating her birthday with her boyfriend Anand Ahuja (in Delhi). Anand had planned a special day for his ladylove and his Instagram page is full of the National Award winning actress’ birthday shenanigans.

The actress had gone to great lengths to keep their relationship under the wraps. In an interview with SpotboyE the actress had revealed her reticence when it comes to Anand Ahuja. “I do not talk about my personal life because I think there has to be a sanctity and something that needs to be kept away because I signed up for this, I signed up to be publicly commented or judged, stalked, loved or hated. Yeah, I am an actress, loved, hated spoken about. But any person who enters my life has not signed up for it and I have to protect that relationship and I have to protect that person,” revealed Sonam.
