Harshvardhan Kapoor Takes Aim With A Rifle As He Preps For Abhinav Bindra’s Biopic
Harshvardhan Kapoor is taking lessons in rifle shooting as a part of his preparation to play Olympic gold medal winner Abhinav Bindra in his biopic
Harshvardhan Kapoor had a bad outing with his debut Mirzya, but now the actor has started preparing for his third film which is based on the life of Abhinav Bindra, the first Indian to win an individual Olympic medal at Beijing in 2008.
Harshvardhan posted a video on Instagram, which gave a glimpse of his training session. He is holding a rifle and getting his posture right before aiming at the target. He captioned the video: “#PrepMode! What a great feeling to be back in prep mode for my next movie. I always enjoy this time and here is when I really start shaping into the role I'm about to play. Can't wait to take you guys along with me on this journey #AbhinavBindra #LetsDoThis.”
A couple of days ago, the actor took to Instagram to make an announcement about the biopic. He shared a picture of himself along with Abhinav Bindra and captioned it: “Beginnings are very special. Especially when you get to play a character that has made the nation proud on world stage. I am stoked to have been chosen to play #AbhinavBindra and hopefully will do justice to the man, the legend! Like the man himself said "Hard Work is a talent." #LetsDoThis.”
However, SpotboyE.com had told you about the project a couple of months ago. The film will be co-produced by Anil Kapoor with Prerna Arora's Kriarj Entertainment. Anil Kapoor was asked about the project at the Dadasaheb Phalke Awards and he said: “It’s too early to speak about the Abhinav Bindra film. Once everything is finalised, I’ll talk about it. But talks are on. If God wishes, we will do a film together and it could be this one. I am very excited to work with him, but it is too early to speak about it.”
