Ananya Panday EXCLUSIVE On Social Media Bullying And Her Fightback: "Someone Told Me My Legs Look Like A Toothpick, So I Have The Body Of A Boy"
In spite of being just a film old, Ananya Panday has already launched an initiative called So Positive to create awareness around social media bullying. In an exclusive interview with SpotboyE.com, the actress spoke fondly about the initiative
After marking an impressive debut in Student of the Year 2, we know Chunky and Bhavna Panday’s darling daughter Ananya has announced her new initiative called So Positive, It is aimed at creating awareness around social media bullying and trolling. SpotboyE.com engaged her in a conversation at KWAN Office last evening, to understand how it all began, what has been the industry response, how terrible she felt when she was bullied at the time of SOTY 2. We asked her to explain the positives and benefits of the app.
Said Ananya, “Basically, my first step is to start a conversation. I just want to raise awareness amongst people that this happens and it's a serious enough issue to take action. The second thing I want to do is build a solid community. I want people to know that they are not alone, they have someone to talk to, they have me to talk to. So, I just want to build a team where there's positivity where people feel they can talk about their experiences without being judged. Thirdly, I also want to go to schools and I want to go and meet people and share experiences with them and try to help them in whatever way I can because I feel that talking and letting it out is the first step. Because people keep that in and you become so negative that you're not sharing your problems with anyone."
