This morning, Ranveer Singh posted a picture of himself as Kapil Dev as he apes the legendary cricketer’s world-famous Natraj shot from his upcoming film ‘83. Just a few months back on 6th July, on the occasion of his birthday, Ranveer Singh's fans received a stunning gift from the actor as he had unveiled his first look as Kapil Dev from his film 83 which is based on the 1983’s World Cup win played between India and West Indies. In ‘83, Ranveer Singh is portraying the role of World-cup winning captain Kapil Dev. ‘83 will also see Deepika Padukone playing the real husband’s reel wife aka Kapil Dev’s wife Romi Dev.
Soon after actor unveiled the Natraj shot today morning, Kapil Dev himself joined the brigade of Bollywood celebs praising the actor for aping his iconic shot to perfection. All praises for Singh’s latest still, Kapil reacted to the picture and wrote, “Hats Off Ranveer” However on Instagram, he called his new look ‘very impressive.’ The picture of Ranveer as Kapil Dev is surely to give you a jolt.
