Amitabh Bachchan and Emraan Hashmi starrer mystery thriller has finally got a title. It will be called Chehre and has gone on floors from today in Mumbai. This is the first time that the actors have teamed up for a film.
Confirming the news, Emraan Hashmi took to this Twitter page and shared a picture of himself with the clapperboard and wrote, “One more off the bucket list as I start shooting for an upcoming mystery thriller #Chehre with the legendary @amitabhbachchan, produced by @anandpandit & directed by #RumiJaffery.

Chehre will be directed by Rumi Jaffrey and produced by Anand Pandit. In a press statement, the producer of films like Pyaar Ka Punchnama 2, Sarkar 3, Satmev Jayate, and the recent blockbuster Total Dhamaal said, “Yes, we are delighted to announce ‘Chehre’ as the title of the film with Mr Bachchan and Emraan Hashmi. We are extremely excited to commence the shoot from today and looking forward to seeing Mr. Bachchan and Emraan onscreen for the first time.”
The movie also stars Kriti Kharbanda, Rhea Chakraborty, Siddhanth Kapoor, Dritman Chakroborthy and Raghubir Yadav with Annu Kapoor. It is scheduled to release on Fenruary 21, 2020. After playing a lawyer in films like Pink and Badla, Big B will yet again be seen playing one in this film. Anand Pandit had said, “Rumi has given the final touches to the script that has been penned by a group of writers. We will begin the reading sessions from Tuesday (May 7) while he has already begun prep. We will wrap up the Mumbai schedule on June 12.”
Apart from this film, Amitabh Bachchan will be seen in Ayan Mukerji’s Brahmastra that also stars Ranbir Kapoor and Alia Bhatt.
