Bollywood actor Ranveer Singh is all set to feature in filmmaker Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s musical love story, Baiju Bawra. SpotboyE.com brought an exclusive scoop on the same to you. “It is Ranveer Singh who is being seriously considered for the part,” a source close to SLB productions had shared. Many were hoping to see the return of the Ranveer Singh-Deepika Padukone pair for the fourth time, on the big screen, in SLB’s creation. However, ‘DeepVeer’ fans are in for a disappointment.
Deepika Padukone is not in Baiju Bawra. According to a report in Bollywood Hungama, Deepika won’t be playing the romantic lead opposite her beloved husband is because of the remuneration. The source in the report mentioned that the Bajirao Mastani actress wants the same remuneration as her husband. “Apparently, Deepika wants the same remuneration as her husband. Not a penny more, not a penny less," said the source in the report.
As per the report, Sanjay Leela Bhansali “regretfully turned down her request for pay parity.” The report mentioned that a source close to Bhansali Productions said it works out for the better, in a way. The source said, “In a way, it works out for the better. Four Ranveer – Deepika films in a row from Sanjay Leela Bhansali would have been excessive, don’t you think?”

Meanwhile, Deepika Padukone and Ranveer Singh have starred together in three of Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s films. The couple featured in films- Goliyon Ki Raasleela- Ramleela, Bajirao Mastani, and Padmavat.
