The final schedule of Ajay Devgn, Sanjay Dutt, Sonakshi Sinha, Nora Fatehi, and Ammy Virk starrer Bhuj The Pride Of India resumed today at Mumbai Film City, Goregoan. A massive set has been erected to finish some patchwork from the film. Ajay Devgn along with director Abhishek Dudhaiya will be overlooking the entire shoot which is expected to last for three days, starting today.
The source informs, "While the major portion of the film has been shot; only a three-day patchwork is needed. They have recreated the Pakistani embassy in Film City and a few scenes will be shot using Sanjay Dutt's body double. Ajay sir will be on sets to overlook the entire shoot."
Devgn plays IAF Squadron Leader Vijay Karnik, the then in charge of the Bhuj airport who, with his team, reconstructed the IAF airbase with the help of 300 women. Initially, the film was slated for theatrical release worldwide on 14 August 2020 during the Independence Day weekend, but the release got affected due to the pandemic. However, keeping in mind cinemas guidelines regarding occupancies, the makers announced that the film will stream directly on OTT platform Disney+Hotstar. Now as per recent reports the makers and the platform are planning to drop the film on 15th August 2021, however, there hasn't been any formal announcement yet. Meanwhile, Ajay has a great lineup of films, he will next be seen in Maidaan, Mayday, Thank God, Rajamouli's RRR, and Dil Raju's next. Whereas Sanjay Dutt awaits the release of his much-anticipated film KGF Chapter 2.
