After Mohit Suri’s Half Girlfriend and Shaad Ali’s Ok Jaanu, Shraddha Kapoor is back with her third release of the year, Haseena Parkar. The makers of the project released the teaser a while ago, and it's breaking the Internet. Check it out:
The film is a biopic on Dawood Ibrahim's sister Haseena Parkar. The short clip shows how Haseena's life changed after her husband was shot dead by gangster-turned-politician Arun Gawli's gang in 1991. The incident prompted her to become the 'Godmother' of Nagpada, south Mumbai. “88 cases have been registered yet she appeared in the court only once,” revealed the one-minute teaser.
Shraddha plays the title role and one look at the teaser, and you know that the actress’s hard work has paid off, for, her transformation will leave you awestruck. She is as feisty as it can get.
Shraddha Kapoor will be seen sharing screen space with real life brother Siddhanth Kapoor for the first time who will essay the role of Dawood Ibrahim. The film also stars Ankur Bhatia in a pivotal role.

To play an older Haseena, Shraddha used facial prosthetics and spent around three-and-a-half hours putting them on every day.
Haseena passed away after a cardiac arrest in July 2014. She was survived by her three children, two daughters and a son. She reportedly left behind assets valued at Rs 5000 crore.
Haseena Parkar is being directed by Apoorva Lakhia and is set to hit theatres on July 14. The film will clash with Saif Ali Khan-starrer Chef, and Ranbir Kapoor-Katrina Kaif-starrer Jagga Jasoos at the box-office.
