Satte Pe Satta remake was itself big news, considering it’s one of the blockbusters of all time. When Farah Khan and Rohit Shetty announced their collaboration for the remake, fans couldn’t contain their excitement. Immediately, the curiosity was to know who will be reliving the classic roles. had told you that Hrithik Roshan is stepping into the shoes of Amitabh Bachchan, while Anushka Sharma will reprise Hema Malini’s role. And we also brought to you that popular TV actor Nakuul Mehta (of Ishqbaaaz fame) and Darsheel Safary (of Taare Zameen Par fame) have been roped in to play Hrithik’s on screen brothers in the film.

And now the latest update on this front is- tongues are wagging that superstar Hrithik Roshan is having doubts about the project and is reconsidering his decision. “Hrithik is being a bit careful with the choice of his next project. Yes, he had given a nod to Satte Pe Satta remake but is now having second thoughts about it. He does not seem very convinced, but you never know- the debate is still on,” a source tells us.

Coming to the cast of Satte Pe Satta remake, reports suggest that Kriti Sanon is being considered for the role of Ranjeeta. The original film, which released in 1982, starred Sachin Pilgaonkar, Shakti Kapoor, Paintal, Kanwaljeet Singh, Sudhir and Vikram Sahu along with Ranjeeta, Hema Malini and Amitabh Bachchan as leads.
