Kajol Shares Heartwarming Picture With An Ailing Mother Tanuja; Says A Big Thank You To Her Well-Wishers
Some days ago, it was revealed that Kajol’s mother, senior actress Tanuja has been detected with an abdominal condition called Diverticulitis. Now, the actress shared a heartwarming picture with her mom and thanked everyone for their prayers and good wishes
Some days back, we discovered the sad news that Kajol’s mother has been detected with an abdominal condition called Diverticulitis. Kajol’s rushed visit to Lilavati hospital raised an alarm. Sources close to the hospital revealed to PTI, the actor will be operated for diverticulitis, a condition which results in the inflammation or infection of small pouches called diverticula that develop along the walls of the intestines.
Now, nearly 10 days into this news, Kajol has shared a heartwarming picture with her mother and it’s bound to make you go teary-eyed. In the photo, we see the mother-daughter duo share a laugh and while we love Tanuja’s smile, it’s quite disturbing to see her drastic weight loss. Sharing the picture, Kajol wrote, “This is just a great big THANK YOU to everyone who has called and prayed and thought of us . This smile that you see is of sheer gratitude. 🙏❤️”

The news of Tanuja’s ill health came barely two days after Ajay Devgn’s father, Veeru Devgan passed away. The veteran action choreographer suffered a cardiac arrest and his funeral was held at Vile Parle crematorium on May 27. Bollywood biggies right from Amitabh Bachchan to Shah Rukh Khan and Aishwarya Rai Bachchan to Karan Johar, paid their last respects to the stunt director. Megastar Amitabh Bachchan also wrote a heartfelt note for Ajay’s father, who has worked with him as a stuntman in his 1971 film Reshma Aur Shera.
Coming back to Tanuja, the actress was hospitalized two years ago as well. Now, we wish her a speedy recovery.
