Lakme Fashion Week 2018, Day 3: Janhvi Kapoor Burns The Ramp In A Blue And Pink Lehenga

Janhvi Kapoor didn’t walk the ramp at the LFW 2018 in February this year but attended the event with mummy Sridevi. The young lady had then opted for an Anamika Khanna design. This evening, the LFW ramp just became hotter. Janhvi descended on the ramp and she literally owned it in no time. No two opinions about her splendour, she looked a million bucks as she walked for designer Nachiket Barve.

So what exactly happened? Heads turned, and they turned with gasp, when Boney Kapoor's daughter set her feet on the LFW ramp, an hour ago. The 21-year old looked extremely comfortable and confident. Janhvi wore a blue and pink lehenga choli. Side-swept hair, with minimal make-up completed her look. The Dhadak actress chose to go sans the accessories and ruled the runway. No prizes for guessing she drew a thunderous applause. And what do we feel seeing this avatar? The girl is gonna go places, it's only a matter of time. Apart from possessing acting chops, she is high on fashion quotient too. The Dhadak promotional campaigns saw her in  a series of trend-setting, alluring, luxe outfits. Whether it was a minidress or a skirt-crop top or a trendy ruffle pantsuit, she slipped into them beautifully.

Mind you, it's not just fashion for Janhvi. She has been the talking point ever since Dhadak hit theatres, courtesy her acting chops and striking dialogue delivery. No one can deny that she caught the eye for her innocence, beauty and effortless acting in her debut flick, produced by Karan Johar and directed by Shashank Khaitan. Papa Boney Kapoor is obviously a proud man.

Talking EXCLUSIVELY to SpotboyE.com, when we dwelt upon Janhvi's striking voice, Boney had said about Janhvi, "We have had several cases of children of big stars who are in major awe of their parents. Personality traits cannot be changed, even the voice can be similar--- but here Janhvi's voice is different than her mom's. I would rather say she has a vulnerable voice and not peculiar, the vulnerability brings in innocence and that makes her endearing."

Boney had added, "I don't know if you know this but Janhvi is a big movie buff. She is a big fan of Raj Kapoor, Dilip Kumar, Madhubala, Nutan, Waheeda Rehman, Vyjanthimala. She has a big collection of their films and I recently even asked Bimal Roy's son to send us some of Bimalda's films which we can't get now."

Post Dhadak, Janhvi will be seen in Karan Johar's Takht co-starring Anil Kapoor, Ranveer Singh, Kareena Kapoor, Alia Bhatt and Vicky Kaushal.
