Mallika Sherawat To Play The Antagonist In Apharan Sequel?- EXCLUSIVE
Bollywood actress Mallika Sherawat made her digital debut with ALTBalaji's web series Booo.. Sabki Phategi that starred her alongside Tusshar Kapoor. And now, we hear the actress is already being considered for their upcoming project wherein she will play the antagonist of the show.

We are talking about the sequel of the web show Apharan that was recently announced. A source close to the show informed to SpotboyE.com that Mallika has been approached to play a negative role and if all goes well, we may get to see her in a never-seen-before avatar.


Apharan which is an action thriller web series revolves around kidnapping, suspense, mystery and never-ending action. In the first edition, we saw Rudra Srivastava (Arunoday Singh), a senior inspector with Uttarakhand police is lured into kidnapping a young girl named Anusha (Monica Chaudhary), at her mother (Mahie Gill)'s request. The plot begins as a simple plan to extort money in exchange for Anusha. 


Coming back to Mallika, she was seen playing the character of a ghost named Haseena in her previous web series. Over a month back, we had interviewed the actress wherein she spoke about debuting on the digital platform. She even spilled the beans on settling down as she said, “I am single and I am very happy like this. I am travelling the world, meeting who’s who, from writers to directors. I went to Cannes Film Festival. I have come from a place like Haryana and now I am living my life on my own terms. So that itself is a big achievement for me.”
