Nach Baliye 7 Winner Himanshu Malhotra Bags A Karan Johar Film; To Share Screen Space With Sidharth Malhotra-Kiara Advani In Shershaah
TV actor Himanshu Malhotra is a happy man. The actor who has been the winner of the reality show, Nach Baliye 7 will be seen in a Bollywood film titled Shershaah that stars Sidharth Malhotra and Kiara Advani in main roles
TV actor Himanshu Malhotra is on cloud nine and why not? After all, the actor has finally bagged an important role in Karan Johar's next film. Himanshu who was last seen in Star Plus' Mariam Khan - Reporting Live will share screen space with Sidharth Malhotra and Kiara Advani in Shershaah.
A source close to him revealed to SpotboyE.com, “Himanshu has already begun the shoot and he will play an important character of an Army Officer. The actor has worked hard on his physique and is extremely excited to join the cast.” It will be Himanshu's second Bollywood project as he was earlier seen in Vishal Pandya's crime thriller Wajah Tum Ho that starred Sharman Joshi, Gurmeet Choudhary and Sana Khan as main leads.

Talking about Shershaah, the film is based on Kargil war hero, Vikram Batra. The first schedule of the movie is complete. Sharing a picture of a clapperboard, Himanshu wrote on Instagram, "#shershah Embarking a new journey with @dharmamovies @sidmalhotra@kiaraaliaadvani #vishnuvardhan#director #shoot #grateful".
Shershaah will be directed by Vishnu Varadhan, produced by Karan-Hiroo Johar, Apoorva Mehta, Shabbir Boxwala, Ajay Shah and Himanshu Gandhi. Recently, the film received clearance from Ministry of Defence. Shabbir Boxwala, co-producer of the Batra biopic stated that all the requisite paperwork has been submitted and the title, script has been cleared.
Speaking of Himanshu Malhotra, the actor who is married to Amruta Khanvilkar came into spotlight with the show, Zee Cine Stars Ki Khoj. He has also been a part of popular shows like Rabb Se Sohna Ishhq, Love Marriage Ya Arranged Marriage, Bhagonwali and Aap Ki Antara.
