Armaan Kohli, who was
presented at the Bandra court, this morning, has been sent to judicial
custody. His girlfriend, Neeru Randhawa was also present at the court and was extremely emotional. Armaan and Neeru have mutually filed an application in Bombay High Court, requesting for out of court settlement. The application will be addressed at Bombay High Court on Friday, which means that Armaan might have to spend the next 48 hours in jail. Meanwhile, his lawyers are trying to get a bail granted for the actor. The plea may be heard today.
Armaan Kohli was finally
arrested yesterday in Lonavala after being absconding from June 3. The actor was nabbed by the police when he was
out to buy a SIM card in Lonavala.
Armaan Kohli And Neeru Randhawa
Armaan was hiding at a friend's (Baba) farm house in Lonavala. Mumbai Police who
was in search of Armaan to give him a summons about the complaint done by Neeru
Randhawa got a tip-off of him hiding in Lonavala and yesterday morning they
drove down to apprehend him. As you read this, he is under official arrest at
Santacruz Police Station.
Armaan was brought to Mumbai, late last night. Armaan and Neeru had a
massive fight over financial issues on June 3, and Armaan, in a fit of anger,
pushed Neeru down a flight of stairs. Neeru has also alleged that Armaan Kohli
grabbed her by the hair and hit her head against the floor.
