OMG! Govinda Reveals He Was FORCED To Hide His Marriage With Sunita Ahuja; Says, ‘Had The Fear That Everyone Was Trying To Sabotage Me’
Govinda once revealed why he was forced to hide his marriage with his wife Sunita Ahuja
Bollywood actor Govinda is known for his iconic dance moves and comic timings. Although, the actor has been irreplaceable and made a name for himself in the industry, one of his constant fears was people sabotaging his career. During an interview he had opened up about his fear and how he had decided to hide his marriage with Sunita Ahuja because of it.
While talking about the same on Simi Garewal’s show, Govinda had revealed that they had fallen in love with his wife at a very young age. When their parents found out about their relationship, they had to get married. The couple tied the knot in 1987, but had to keep it a secret as the actor was worried about his career. During the same interview, Chi Chi had further expressed that hiding his marriage was not one of his best decisions as it hurt his wife’s feelings. He had shared how they could rarely go out in public together, without being fearful of people spotting him. When the news of him being married did get out, it did not hurt his popularity. For the unversed, Govinda ruled the 80s, 90s and early 2000s with movies like Bhagam Bhag, Partner, Hero No. 1, Coolie No. 1, Deewana Mastana, Dulhe Raja, Bade Miyan Chote Miyan and Haseena Maan Jaayegi amongst many others. The actor and his wife are proud parents to their kids Tina Ahuja and Yashvardhan Ahuja. The couple has stood by each other through thick and thin in life.
