Controversial queen Rakhi Sawant reportedly has been arrested in connection with a complaint filed against her by actress Sherlyn Chopra. For the unversed, last year in November Sherlyn filed FIR against Rakhi and her lawyer Falguni for showing her objectionable and p**n videos to the media. Now, Rakhi has been detained by Amboli police ahead of her dance academy launch today. Sherlyn took to her Twitter handle to inform everyone about Sawant’s arrest.

The actress tweeted, “Breaking News. Amboli Police has arrested Rakhi Sawant in respect of FIR 883/2022. Yesterday, Rakhi Sawant's ABA 1870/2022 was rejected by the Mumbai session court.” Sherlyn's lawyer Suhail Shariff also confirmed the news to ETimes TV. It is being reported that Rakhi’s anticipatory bail before Dindoshi Court got rejected yesterday. However, as per the news agency ANI report, Rakhi has only been detained for questioning and not arrested. Last year, Rakhi and Sherlyn got into an ugly fight after the dancer came out in support of #MeToo accused Sajid Khan and slammed Chopra for her statement against the filmmaker. Addressing the media in a press conference, Rakhi accused Chopra of running a Sextortion racket where she seduces influential people and later blackmails them. Rakhi had also called Sherlyn a ‘porn star’ in front of the media. She also showed Sherlyn’s objectionable pictures to paps. 

Rakhi said, “Look at this, Sherlyn Chopra is a porn star. You will find her such pictures and seductive videos only. She runs a sextortion racket where she seduces and then blackmails powerful individuals. Sherlyn was caught in a prostitution racket in Alibaug and she often extorts money from Infulentials after seducing them, from head to toe she is filled with surgery and she is talking about me.”
