Priyanka Chopra’s father, Dr. Ashok Chopra, passed away 4 years ago after battling cancer. Needless to say, the actress misses her father’s presence in her life.

On his 4th death anniversary, Priyanka posted a heartbreaking message on Twitter which read, “Thank you to all for your wishes. Four years today. Some things will always hurt (sic)."

PeeCee also took to Instagram to post a series of pictures remembering her late father.

To begin with she posted a video of Shanti Puja at her house and captioned it as, “Shanti Puja at home. #familytime❤️ #daddyslilgirl #june10 (sic).”

She then posted a family picture where a 17-year-old Priyanka is proudly posing with the family after she won the Miss World title. She wrote alongside the snap, “Family. Beautiful. Together. One. @madhuchopra @siddharthchopra89#Dad (sic).”

This was followed by a romantic picture of Ashok Chopra with his wife Madhu Chopra. Priyanka captioned the snap, “#goals #dad@madhuchopra ❤️ miss u dad (sic).”

That’s not all. Priyanka then shared a picture from her childhood where her father is lovingly holding her in her arms. She posted a heart-breaking caption alongside which read, “Sing to me one more time. #daddyandI miss u dad (sic).”

On the professional front, besides signing her second Hollywood film, A Kid Like Jake and being in talks with the makers of Isn’t It Romantic, Pee Cee has signed given a green signal to Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s Gustakhiyan and also zeroed in on Aniruddha Roy Chowdhury’s next.
