For the past few months, Bollywood actress Parineeti Chopra has been prepping and shooting for her much-anticipated Saina Nehwal biopic. The film is based on the life of Indian badminton player Saina Nehwal. On Tuesday, Parineeti dropped the first look of her upcoming Saina Nehwal biopic. She revealed that the film is titled Saina. The actress also shared the film will be hitting theatres on March 26, 2021. Watching the first look of Saina, Priyanka Chopra Jonas made a tweet and expressed her thoughts.
Taking to her official Twitter handle, PeeCee tweeted, “Crush it Tisha and team #Saina @NSaina” Priyanka reacted to the first look of the Saina biopic and lauded her cousin Parineeti’s performance. She told Parineeti aka Tisha and the Saina team, to ‘crush it’. The White Tiger actress also made sure she tagged the ace badminton player in her tweet. After PeeCee’s tweet, in return, OG Saina Nehwal replied to the actress. Saina Nehwal was grateful and expressed her gratitude to Priyanka. She re-tweeted the tweet made by Mrs Jonas and replied with two folded hands emojis.

Meanwhile, the film titled Saina is directed by Amol Gupte. Parineeti dropped the poster of the film too. The poster sees a hand, wearing a tricolour wrist band, trying to hold the badminton shuttlecock. While the poster looks intriguing, it has “Maar Doongi” written next to the shuttlecock. Speaking of the first rushes of the film, the video shared by Parineeti Chopra features a glimpse of her from the movie.
