For Sanya Malhotra, this year’s Diwali is quite special and memorable as she has gifted herself a beautiful lavish apartment, which is located in the Bayview building on Juhu-Versova Link Road. The actress reportedly bought her new luxurious apartment for Rs 14.3 crore. Yes, you read that right! Sanya will now be Hrithik Roshan’s neighbour, as he also owns two apartments in the same building.
According to a report by Money Control, Sanya’s new apartment was owned by builder Samir Bhojwani and was transferred on her name on October 14, 2021. As per the Hindustan Times report, the Dangal actress and her father Sunil Kumar Malhotra paid a stamp duty amount of Rs. 71.5 lakh and bought the apartment for Rs. 14.3 crore. Actor Hrithik Roshan bought two houses worth almost Rs. 100 crore last year in the same building.
Pictures of Sanya’s new dreamy abode are doing rounds on the internet. Going by the photos, it is quite evident that the new apartment has everything of Sanya’s choice.
Notably, this is not the first house that Sanya had bought for herself in Mumbai. Back in 2018, she became a proud owner of another luxurious flat in the city.
While speaking to HT, Sanya had then said, “I used to stay in a one-bedroom apartment before I bought this place and the sole purpose of moving into a bigger house was to have my family come over from Delhi and stay comfortably with me whenever they want to. At first, I was skeptical about it, considering the finances, but my father convinced me that I should invest in my own house rather than renting out a place.”
Meanwhile, on the work front, Sanya is gearing up for the release of her forthcoming movie 'Meenakshi Sundareshwar' alongside Abhimanyu Dassani. The film will release on 5 November 2021 on Netflix.
