Few days back, the makers of the film shared the first picture from the sets, which had Rohit Shetty, Ranveer Singh, Sara Ali Khan and Karan Johar seated on a jeep. After the picture, a video in which Rohit Shetty calls Sara Ali Khan, Amrita Singh surfaced online. Karan Johar shared the video and wrote, “SIMMBA!!!!! Starts today!!!!! Directed by the DYNAMIC @itsrohitshetty starring the MAGNETIC @ranveersingh and the GORGEOUS #SaraAliKhan....releasing DEC 28th, 2018”

In the video, Ranveer Singh was seen saying a dialogue; and that’s when director Rohit interrupted and said, “Pagal hogaya hai, film ka dialogue kyu bol raha hai.” Later, when Sara Ali Khan joined them and asked if it’s Singham 3’s set, Shetty made fun of her saying, ‘Aila! Amrita Singh’ and then ran away.

The first poster of Simmba was released 6 months back, and it went viral within minutes. The film is a remake of the Telugu blockbuster Temper, which starred Jr NTR.

Talking of Ranveer's look in the movie, he can be seen sporting a mischievous avatar. He is seen in a khakee uniform in the poster. It's being said that Ajay Devgn will also have a cameo in the film, portraying the iconic character Bajirao Singham. According to reports, Ranveer's Bhalerao Sangram aka Simmba will also have a relation to Singham.
