Anand Ahuja celebrated their union with friends and family in a 3-day affair.
The couple surely
had a dreamy wedding and
now here's their first picture after marriage which Anand Ahuja posted on
Instagram.
In the picture,
Sonam is seen in Anand's arms, posing adorably. While Sonam looks pretty in light purple saree and
Anand looks dapper in blue suit.
Yesterday, we
told you about actress’ mangalsutra which Sonam has designed for herself and it
has a certain significance.
Usheeta Rawtani,
who had executed Sonam’s mangalsutra, took to social media and posted its
picture revealing each detail.

She captioned the
picture, “Congratulations on your wedding @sonamkapoor &
@anandahuja. A mangalsutra is a sacred necklace that a groom ties around a
brides neck in an Indian wedding ceremony. This one was especially designed by
the bride (@sonamkapoor) herself and executed by us. It has symbols of both
their star signs. Hers being Gemini (on the left) and his Leo (on the right)
these are complimented by a Solitaire in the centre.”

Sonam Kapoor and
Anand Ahuja had a Sikh wedding at her aunt’s place followed by a wedding party
on the same night at The Leela.
For her wedding
reception, Sonam opted for a black and grey combination lehenga choli with
straightened hair. Anand, on the other hand, chose a black bandhgala sherwani-
both look adorable together.
The guests at the
reception included names like, Shah Rukh Khan, Salman Khan, Kareena Kapoor, Saif
Ali Khan, Jacqueline Fernandez, Rani Mukerji, Arjun Kapoor, Abhishek-Aishwarya,
Shahid Kapoor, Mira Rajput, Ranveer Singh, Masaba Gupta, Swara Bhasker among
others.

The wedding
functions started on Sunday night,
with an intimate Mehendi ceremony at Anil Kapoor’s Juhu bungalow. The day
after, a more elaborate Mehendi ceremony was organised at Signature Island,
BKC.
