WATCH: Madhuri Makes Varun & Alia Groove To Tamma Tamma
The lead pair of Badrinath Ki Dulhania – Alia Bhatt and Varun Dhawan – was in for a treat when the original Tamma Tamma girl, Madhuri Dixit, taught the track’s iconic steps to the duo
Varun Dhawan and
Alia Bhatt will groove to the contemporary version of Tamma Tamma in their
upcoming film, Badrinath Ki Dulhania; and who better than the original Tamma
Tamma girl, Madhuri Dixit, to teach them!
Varun and Alia
took to Instagram to share a video of Madhuri turning their dance guru. The
endearing clip begins with Alia failing to get the iconic steps right when
Madhuri steps in. Soon after, Alia is a pro.
Varun wrote,
“@aliaabhatt and badri learning then#tammatammaagain steps from
@madhuridixitnene herself. Take a look at our dance class and see what madhuri
thinks of alias moves (sic).”
Varun shared another video is which Madhuri can be seen counting down to the song’s release. Take a look:
Who can forget Madhuri and Sanjay Dutt grooving to the popular number like no one’s watching? The song from Thanedaar (1990) created hysteria decades ago and continues to be a memorable track.
The audience has already got a glimpse of Alia and Varun dancing to the tunes of this iconic number in Badrinath... trailer and tomorrow they will be able to see the entire track.

The title song of the film, which released a few days ago, has already got the nation grooving and considering the popularity of Tamma Tamma, we are sure this one will resonate with music lovers as well.
Badrinath Ki Dulhania revolves around Badrinath (Varun) and Vaidehi (Alia). Badri is eager to find a wife but falls for Vaidehi, a firebrand who is not keen on becoming a traditional bahu.
The film was initially touted to be the sequel to Humpty Sharma Ki Dulhania (2014), which was sort of a tribute to Dilwale Dulhania Le Jayenge (1995). However, the lead pair has gone on record to deny it saying that it’s a fresh story.
