A source close to Asha Bhosle reveals that the devotional single was recorded at Andheri on Tuesday
“Ashaji recorded the song within 45 minutes with immense perfection. Despite being a veteran in the field she repeatedly sang the same lines unless satisfied. No matter how much time it takes, she refuses to compromise on pronunciation and the sur. Ashaji keeps recording these songs for a number of private albums,” says the source.

Kumar Chandrahas has composed and penned the lyrics of the song, while Ali Haider has arranged it.

Coming back to her collaborations last year – Asha Bhosle’s magical voice will be heard in Vidya Balan-starrer Begum Jaan, the music of which has been composed by Anu Malik. The song marks Anu and Asha’s collaboration after a gap of 10 years. “Asha Bhosle has sung in the film and the song is picturised on Vidya. It is a visual and audio treat. People have to see t to believe it,” Anu told a section of the press.

The Chura Liya Hai Tumne super singer’s video with the Band of Boys will feature Ashaji, her granddaughter Zanai besides the Band of Boys. The track was shot in Mauritius and is all set to release in April.
