Ever since its inception in 2020, Rupali Ganguly and Gaurav Khanna starrer has become one of the most watched serials on Indian television. The show, with its unique storyline managed to keep the fans engaged. However, now that the makers are dragging out their favourite couple Anupamaa and Anuj’s separation, netizens have started expressing their frustration. In one of the recent tracks it was seen how after being away from each other the estranged couple comes face to face during Samar and Dimpy’s wedding.

It was seen how due to family pressure, despite still being married to each other, Anu and Anuj perform the wedding rituals with Vanraj and Maya respectively. This has left the fans of the show raging as it blatantly disrespects the Hindu culture and sacred bond of marriage. While, netizens have often taken to their social media platforms to express their disappointment over the current track, it is for the first time that MaAn fans are trending ‘Boycott Anupamaa’ on Twitter. According to the reports regarding the upcoming plots of Anupamaa, there is a possibility that Kanta will expose Maya, Vanraj and Barkha’s scheme in front of the Shah and Kapadia family. Anu’s mentor Malti Devi, who is attending Samar and Dimpy’s wedding, will see Anuj and get emotional. It is later revealed that Anuj is her son, who she left at the adoption centre to focus on her career. On the other hand Vanraj will refuse to accept Kavya’s baby and accuse her of having an extra-marital affair with her ex-husband Anirudh. It will be interesting to see how the makers tie all the plots together so that Anupamaa can go to the USA to fulfil her dreams.
