After Rashami Desai & Sidharth Shukla's Exit, Dil Se Dil Tak To Go Off-Air

Here comes another shocking news from the sets of Colors' Dil Se Dil Tak. The show, which premiered on Jan 30, 2017, will be going off-air by May end.

The unfortunate news comes after the exit of its leads- Rashami Desai and Sidharth Shukla. According to a report in Bombay Times, the show will go off-air on May 28.

SpotboyE.com informed you about Sidharth Shukla’s exit from the show after his numerous tantrums. We also told you that Rohan Gandotra then replaced him on the show.

And just a few days back, show’s main lead Rashami Desai too made a sudden exit.

With two of its main actors dissociating with the show, looks like the viewers are not very pleased and hence there was a fall in TRPs.

The daily spoke to Rohan Gandotra, who currently plays the lead in the show about its low ratings and he said, “In between, our show was aired only thrice a week, but that’s not because of low ratings. It was the channel’s strategy to promote other shows, but now, we are back to airing on five days. Having said that, it’s true that the ratings are not as high as we had expected them to be. I feel that the viewers were not able to connect with the track that revolved around one man living with two wives. Also, the ongoing cricket tournament is eating into the viewership of almost all fiction shows. I am not aware of the show going off air yet, but it is highly possible.”

On the other hand, Jasmin Bhasin looked completely unaware of the fact that plugs have been pulled off from her show. "I think these are all rumours and the show cannot go off air. If it were to really happen, it would be the sadest moment for me. There were low ratings registered in the last few weeks but that is just a phase. This happens to all the shows. I think the show always had a good concept and it should continue." Jasmin told the daily.

Recently, the show took a leap after Rashami's exit and actor Iqbal Khan entered the show. He started the shoot on April 26. However, he will hardly get a window of a month to entertain his fans.
