Bigg Boss 16’s Ex-Contestant Gautam Vig DENIES Making Derogatory Remarks On Soundarya Sharma; Says, ‘Tina Datta is jealous, Resorting To Such Nonsense’
Gautam Vig has revealed that Tina Datta and Shalin Bhanot are deliberately dragging his name by stating that he defamed Soundarya Sharma
Bigg Boss 16 is one of the most controversial reality shows on Indian television. Everyday, contestants are seen getting into heated, verbal conversations where they degrade others and their families. Recently, during their spat Shalin Bhanot and Tina Datta, had dragged Soundarya Sharma and ex-contestant Gautam Vig’s name through the mud. It was alleged by Tina that Gautam and Shalin had spoken ill about Soundarya’s character.
Clarifying the same, during an interview with ETimes, Gautam has now denied the allegations made by the Uttaran actress. He revealed that he was talking to Shalin about a common friend, which Soundarya overheard and informed them that she knew the guy. When Gautam asked Shalin if Soundarya was dating anyone, he denied. However, Shalin promised to tell him a lot more about the actress after they left the house. He went on to question why they have been dragging his name. The actor, who is all set to star in Colors TV’s Junooniyat alongside co-contestant Ankit Gupta, further told the media publication, “It’s sad to see a woman talk ill about another woman. Tina is jealous because Soundarya and Shalin are becoming friends again. Imagine their frustration that they are resorting to such nonsense. He went on to claim that he met Soundarya for the first time in Bigg Boss house, debunking the accusations made by Tina Datta of Gautam planning a ‘strategy with Shalin before entering the show’. The actor told the media publication, “I met Shalin Bhanot at a common friend’s party for about 15 minutes around four months before Bigg Boss 16. Tab tak Bigg Boss ka koi scene hi nahi tha. How would I know things about Soundarya, as claimed by Tina, if I met her for the first time inside the BB house? If I knew so much, then why didn’t I mention it in any interviews?”
He stressed on the fact that once the show ends, “ will talk to her about everything. Whether we are together, that’s a different thing altogether. I won’t take the blame for things I haven’t said.”
