Soundarya Sharma is one of the contestants who has recently started to come out of her shell and express her opinions on camera. It’s been weeks since her relationship with Gautam Vig has been questioned and called fake by the audience, by Karan Johar, by Salman Khan, by the contestants, and by Bigg Boss himself. During a courtroom trial task, the contestants had to defend sets of their housemates. The trials that were conducted surrounded actor Gautam and his relationship with Soundarya and his friendship with Shalin Bhanot.

It all started when Bigg Boss fired Gautam from his captaincy task and said that the actor would have to go through a courtroom act to justify his love for Soundarya and prove that their love is not fake. After the announcement, Soundarya is seen removing her mic to whisper something in Gautam’s ear, which makes BB very angry. He calls her on the dias and expresses that he wants to do a trial with her himself as she has often disrespected his rules by either speaking in Hindi or purposefully removing her mic. As the courtroom trial centering on Gautam and Soundarya’s relationship begins, MC Stan is appointed as his lawyer, while Nimrit Kaur Alhuwalia is appointed as the opposition, and Ankit Gupta and Gori Nagori are appointed as judges. Several contestants are called in as witnesses to share their take on whether his relationship with Soundarya is real or fake. After declaring their decision as fake, Bigg Boss fires Stan and asks Soundarya to become Gautam’s lawyer. He also replaces the judges and appoints Tina Datta and Priyanka Chahar Chaudhary for the roles.


Hence commences a new trial centering on Gautam and Shalin’s friendship. During the trial, Shalin shared that they hadn't been on speaking terms for 12 days and that Gautam never made an effort to talk to him. Soundarya and Tina get into a spat while presenting the case. The new judges come to the conclusion that Gautam and Shalin’s friendship is a fake. As Bigg Boss agrees with the decision, Soundarya loses her calm and shares that she feels that BB is biased towards Tina Dutta. She says, "Boss ne jaan bujhkar Tina ko judge rakha mujhe toh pata nahi kabhi abhi lagta hain ki Bigg Boss biased hi hai mujhse bhi(Bigg Boss purposely kept Tina as the judge, sometimes I feel Bigg Boss is biased towards them and that's why they won.)" Netizens supported Soundarya and agreed with her observation. They flooded social media with positive messages for her. Some netizens even questioned how BB is viewing relationships in the house after he dubbed Shalin and Tina’s relationship real.
