Chandrakanta Star Vishal Aaditya Singh Ends Up In Hospital
The star of Ekta Kapoor’s Chandrakanta, Vishal Aaditya Singh, went from the sets to the hospital. And the reason shocked everyone!
Vishal Aaditya Singh has hit the big time after landing the role of the leading man in Ekta Kapoor’s much-hyped new series Chandrakanta.
The actor, who was earlier seen in the TV show Begusarai, naturally went all out to make sure that he performs well while on the sets of Chandrakanta.
But after the first day of shooting, he ended up being rushed to the hospital. The actor had a severe nose bleed and when the doctors questioned him about his state of health, they were shocked.

Turns out, he had not had a single sip of water for the past four days in order to prepare for the shoot.
But all is well that ends well Ekta Kapoor was rather impressed by Vishal Aaditya Singh’s dedication and convinced that she made the right decision by casting a new face as the lead of her show.
“Yes, Vishal did not drink water for four days while he was doing the introduction scene and landed up in hospital with a bleeding nose. The dedication, passion and hard work is impressive. You never know, in the coming two years he may be seen getting launched in movies,” Ekta told SpotboyE.com.

The war of ratings is all set to intensify with the launch of Ekta Kapoor's version of Chandrakanta, which will lock horns with Life Ok’s version, Prem Ya Paheli — Chandrakanta. While that show starring Kritika Kamra and Gaurav Khanna launched in February, Ekta’s show will soon start airing on Colors.
The titular character in Ekta Kapoor’s show will be played by Madhurima Tuli.

Chandrakanta’s casting generated immense buzz in the industry circles. A number of names including that of Krystle D’souza, Hina Khan, Nia Sharma and Madhurima Tuli were doing the rounds, and it was Madhurima who finally made the cut.
