Ex-Lovers Sushant Singh Rajput And Ankita Lokhande Will Be Back On-Screen
Brace yourselves as former lovers Sushant Singh Rajput and Ankita Lokhande will be seen on the small screen, yet again. Excited? So are we
Sushant Singh Rajput and Akita Lokhande’s Pavitra Rishta
was once of the most sought-after shows on Indian television. In fact, it was
on the sets of the show that the two stars fell in love and began dating. They
parted ways a couple of years ago. Now,
get set to witness the chemistry yet again for the two lovers are coming back
on-screen. No, they have not signed another show. Zee TV has decided to re-run
the family drama. Along with Pavitra Rishta, Jodha Akbar too will be aired
again.
Zee TV made the official announcement on social media and
the message said, “The announcement that you have been waiting for is finally
here! The #OnDemand list is out and we can’t keep calm. Your
favourites #PavitraRishta & #JodhaAkbar will
air once again, starting from 3rd September, Mon-Fri, 4 PM & 5 PM
respectively.”
Pavitra Rishta began in 2009 and concluded in 2014.
In June, Ankita had spoken at length about her
break-up with Sushant. Talking
about dealing with the unfortunate phase she said, “It affects you a lot. You
don’t know what’s happening with you but it’s all there in the papers. However,
I actually feel it makes you stronger. Today, I don’t feel anything. That’s it.
Whatever the things were, my family and friends were with me.”
Addressing the lessons she learnt from the relationship,
Ankita had said, “I have learnt to love myself. I had forgotten to do that.
Loving yourself helps because if you don’t respect your own feelings, how do
you expect others to do that? Also, earlier, I didn’t know how to balance
things. Today, I know how to do that. Mujhe pata hai kahaan kise importance
deni hai. Lekin sabse zyada importance mujhe apne aap ko deni hai.”
