Fans will miss the camaraderie between Surbhi Chandna (Anika), Shrenu Parikh (Gauri) and Mansi Srivastava (Bhavya) on-screen as Ishqbaaaz is soon coming to an end. The actresses, who are more like sisters on-screen, share a great bond off-screen too and last night, partied together at a suburban hotspot. Apart from them, Mreenal Deshraj (Janhvi Singh Oberoi), who essays the role of Jhanvi Singh Oberoi, was also present. Recently, Star Plus’ posted a video on their Instagram page where Ishqbaaaz’s producer, Gul Khan, was seen talking about her decision to bid farewell to the show . The video was captioned, “Beautiful stories create beautiful memories. Let’s cherish the memories of our wonderful six and welcome new beginnings. Thank you for all the love. #Ishqbaaaz.” In the clip, Gul spoke about achieving a logical end to the characters and said that stories should end on a beautiful note so that there are fresh beginnings.
Surbhi Chandna’s exit created immense buzz on social wherein they started tweeting in favour of the character. They even took to the streets to demand that she be retained and accused Gul of being unfair. Talking about her exit, Surbhi EXCLUSIVELY spoke to SpotboyE.com and said, “I am not disappointed with the producer's call. She is the maker. Who am I to ask her a question about her creative decision? Usko jo theek lagega, woh karegi na. I have been a part of Ishqbaaaz for two-and-half years and received so much of love and appreciation from people. It is far more than I would have ever imagined. I am signing off on a content note. I have no hard feelings. Producer ne bhi kuch sochke plan kiya hoga na.”

Addressing the fans’ reaction to Surbhi’s exit, her co-stars Shrenu and Mansi admitted that her character is close to viewers’ hearts and thus they are bound to be disappointed. The former told us , “I understand that the fans are largely attached to her character-Anika. So they must be obviously feeling bad. Surbhi and I feel bad for them. But such is life, and the show must go on.”
Mansi, on the other hand said , “Surbhi aka Anika is the most beloved character of Ishqbaaaz. Fans will be disappointed.”
