Karan Mehra’s Wife Nisha Rawal Breaks Down While Addressing Media; Shows Pictures Of Her Bruises: ‘My Face Turned Black And Blue Many Times’
Nisha Rawal, who accused her husband Karan Mehra of domestic violence, addressed a press conference today. She reacted to accusations levelled against her, and also showed pictures of her bruises
This morning, it was reported that Nisha Rawal has accused her husband Karan Mehra of domestic violence, and also filed an FIR against him. Karan was arrested by Mumbai Police last night, and was granted bail later. Nisha alleged that after an argument, Karan pushed her against a wall and hurt her head. Now, she addressed a press conference today, and reacted to accusations levelled against her. She also showed pictures of her bruises from last night, as well as from earlier.
While speaking to the media, Nisha Rawal said that wherever CCTV cameras were placed inside the house, he wouldn’t do anything with her. However, he would always behave badly with her in their room, where there were no cameras. She further said that Karan is claiming this is about money, but that isn’t the case. She said in fact, it was Karan who manipulated her into giving away her jewelry. “I gave it to him but mujhe nahi pata tha peechhe se unka kya chal raha hai. He said we are under financial pressure, maine kaha bech do ghar, chote ghar me chale jayenge. I have been supportive,” she said.
Speaking about the violence, she said that he has hit her many times. “Sometimes my face went black and blue, sometimes he punched me.” Nisha later showed an image of her bruises, which she said was from earlier. She then also showed an image of her from last night. When asked why she was tolerating the abuse, Nisha broke down and said, “Because I love him, I still do. I was stupid. It came as a slap on my face that he was having an affair. This is last night. This isn’t easy for me. I want to set an example for my child. I don’t want a father like Karan for my child, who is unethical.”
She said that last night after she confronted Karan, he stood out and left. As she was leaving the room too, he held her hand and pushed her against the wall, claimed Nisha. “He took my throat and pinned me on the wall.
