Karan Oberoi Household Erupts With Joy, Actor Returns Home From Jail; Sister Bani Can't Stop Jumping Up And Down!

Oberoi household in Lokhandwala Complex is back on a high. Karan Oberoi has returned home. The actor was discharged from Taloja Jail in the afternoon and we are the FIRST to tell you just not that, but also the fact that he has just entered his home few minutes back. Oberoi's lawyer Dinesh Tiwary has confirmed this news with us.
Karan's sister Bani Oberoi too has confirmed that her brother is back. "He is resting now. I am so happy. I started jumping up and down since yesterday and haven't yet stopped." Bani had gone to fetch him from Taloja. The others who are most happy are obviously Karan's parents (in Chandigarh) and his close friends Anveshi Jain, Pooja Bedi and Subhash Singh. "I am so happy that finally Karan is out. My friend is innocent," Singh says.
The singer-turned-actor who was accused of rape and extortion by a female astrologer received a bail from the Bombay High Court, yesterday. Karan had been in judicial custody for over a month now. The paperwork had been done yesterday. The family tried rushing to Taloja to submit the papers but could not manage everything before 5 pm, hence the actor was let off only today.
The High Court has said prima facie it is not the case of rape and the whatsapp communication placed on record which is admitted by the advocate for the complainant does not indicate that it is the case of of rape ,filming and extortion. The High Court also said that the mobile phone of the complainant should be seized for the investigation. That the complainant was obsessed with Karan and there is no material on record to indicate demand of any gift from the actor. Also the FIR that had been recently registered by the complainant where she spoke about assault has been proved to be fake as the complainant had apparently planted the attack on herself.
