The festival of Karwa Chauth-which is observed by married women, is here and it is being celebrated with great zeal. The festival falls on the fourth day of the Kartik month as per the Hindu lunisolar calendar and on this day married women fast from sunrise to moonrise without having water and food (nirjala fast) to pray for the long lives of their husbands. Notably, our tinsel town's popular bahus like Ankita Lokhande, Kundali Bhagya fame Shraddha Arya and Mouni Roy will be observing the fast, in fact, it is their first Karwa Chauth.
These actresses took to their respective social media handles to give fans a glimpse of celebrations and also flaunted their beautiful Heena Mehendi designs. Mouni, who got married to her boyfriend Suraj Nambiar on January 27, 2022, in Goa, posted a couple of her beautiful photos, showing off her Mehendi. Sharing clicks of her henna-adorned hands, she wrote, “Firsts are always special…Happy Karwa Chauth beauties.” She looked happy posing with her henna-adorned hands. Shraddha, who tied the knot last year with Indian Navy Officer, Rahul Nagal in her hometown New Delhi, also dropped a video of her wherein she could be seen dancing while showing off her Mehendi design. She is seen getting all goofy. In the next follow-up post, Arya posted her gorgeous pictures wearing a lehenga with matching jewelry. With her hair tied in a neat high bun, her makeup game looked on point. Alongside the pictures, the TV actress wrote, "Happy Karwachauth & Love To All! Lehenga: @gopivaiddesigns #Grateful.”
On the other hand, the Pavitra Rishta fame Ankita is beyond excited to celebrate her first Karwa Chauth with her husband Vicky Jain. In an interview, she revealed that her sargi would be extra special as it will be infused with a wholesome and nutritious dose of Quaker Oats and flavourful Oats Kheer sargi. Ankita was quoted saying, “This year, Vicky and I will be celebrating our first Karwa Chauth, and we couldn’t have been more excited. We planned everything as per the traditions, right from deciding my outfit to spending time together with our families. We are happy to celebrate this milestone together and hope this Karwa Chauth, brings love, joy, and fulfilment to all.”
