In July, SpotboyE.com broke the news of Taarak Mehta’s Dr. Hathi aka Kavi Kumar Azaad’s unfortunate death. His team is still trying to cope with the loss and has now decided to cancel their 10-year celebration plans due to the same. According to a report in Tellychakkar, there might be a puja on the sets on July 28, but all the celebrations that were planned initially have been called off.
Meanwhile, post Dr. Hathi’s death, the makers had planned that the next track of the show will be shot at Vaishno Devi.
A source had said, “The team will head to Vaishno Devi to celebrate the success of the show. In the coming episodes, you will see the stars, who play Gokuldham Society residents, planning the trip. If all goes well, the team will fly out on July 27.” Later, they realised that it would be too chaotic to shoot with such a huge star cast there so they have eventually dropped the idea for now.
A show completing 10 years on TV is a big achievement. The credit goes to the hardworking team of Taarak for keeping viewers hooked to the show over the years. The sitcom is still ruling TRP charts and giving a tough fight to other popular shows.

Dr. Hathi, a couple of days ago, Taarak producer, Asit Modi, told SpotboyE.com
that the popular character will be replaced in the show. Then reports of him
getting replaced by Nirmal Soni started doing the rounds. When SpotboyE.com
contacted Soni, he said, “I haven’t got any call from them. It’s too early to comment on that.
Let them call me first and then I will think.”
