Tujhse Hai Raabta actress Reem Shaikh faced a sticky situation when her dance performance at Zee Rishtey Awards nite got delayed by 7 hours. We tell you what exactly happened
Actress Reem Shaikh who’s currently seen on the popular TV show Tujhse Hai Raabta faced a sticky situation during her dance performance at the recently held Zee Rishtey Awards 2019 that happened on Dec 7 in Mumbai.
So, we learnt that a day before, i.e. on Dec 6, the dance performances were lined up for the big nite and Reem Shaikh was to open the act. Her performance was to happen at 4 pm, but it got delayed by nearly 7 hours and the actress had to perform around 11 pm.
A source reveals that right before her act could begin around 4, the channel rejected her costume. So, her stylist Anuradha Khurana arranged for a new costume in approximately 3 hours and finally, the actress could perform by 11 pm. So much for a costume change!
Several other actors like Nishant Malkani, Kanika Mann, Tunisha Sharma and Adnan Khan performed on the big nite. The awards ceremony was hosted by Ravi Dubey and Paritosh Tripathi.
Coming back to Reem Shaikh, not too long ago, the actress had shared her experience of being rejected from auditions thrice for being chubby. She spoke about how she had to take a forced break of nearly 2 years after her stint in Ashoka before Tujhse Hai Raabta happened.
