Produced by Rajan Shahi, Star Plus’ show Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai has been running successfully for almost 15 years now. Starring Samridhii Shukla, Shehzada Dhami, Pratiksha Homnukhe, and Shivam Khajuria in pivotal roles, the show is one of the most-watched shows that often tops the weekly TRP charts. Today’s episode starts with Dadi commenting on how happy Ruhi looks. She tells Ruhi that she is planning a havan and a party for Madhav and Vidya’s upcoming wedding anniversary. Ruhi asks what can she help with. Dadi tells her that she will be responsible for planning the party and asks her who she wants as a partner. Ruhi takes Armaan’s name, who excitedly agrees. 

Abhira confides in Armaan and tells him about how Dadi made her make breakfast as she was already getting late for work. A shocked Armaan tells her that he will talk to Vidya about it. He makes her relax, and have food so that she can study properly. On the other hand, Manish sends audio messages to Abhir. He calls Abhir, who picks up. Abhir calls him buddy, which makes Manish cry happily. As Armaan and Abhira get ready for work, he gets messages from Ruhi about the theme of the surprise party. She asks Armaan what he wants to eat, but he doesn’t reply. Madhav informs Abhira about his upcoming wedding anniversary with Vidya and asks her what they can do. Abhira suggests that they should spend time with each other away from the family as they are always busy with their responsibilities and forget to just be husband and wife. As Madhav gets a little awkward listening to Abhira’s date ideas, Armaan and Ruhi plan the surprise party. Madhav tells Abhira that he will take her advice. Back at the Goenka house, Manish tells Suwarna and Surekha to decorate the house as Abhir is coming to visit them. Surekha asks him what they will be telling Ruhi. He says it is time to reunite the kids as they suffered because of the elders’ fights. Abhira sees Armaan and Ruhi discussing the surprise party. When she asks them if they are talking about her, they deflect the questions, which upsets her. As the episode comes to an end, Dadi tells Abhira to call the pest control people from her room and instructs her that she must stay in the room while they work. Ruhi sees this and tells Abhira that she will call the pest control and that the latter to leave for her office. As Abhira works on an assignment in the office, Ruhi instructs the pest control people where to work, however, she gets distracted after getting a message from Armaan.

Abhira arrives home and spends a few good moments with Ruhi, sharing candies with her. Just then a furious Dadi comes to scold her. Dadi tells Abhira that she has lost something precious because of her not being in the room when the pest control people were working. Abhira sees Ruhi. In the upcoming episode of the serial, Abhira tells Dadi that she will be accepting any punishment they want her to have. Vidya tells her to call her office and let them know that she won’t be coming for two days.
