HIT OR FLOP: Anupamaa Tops The TRP Chart, While Saath Nibhaana Saathiya 2 Gets Back In The Race
This week bagging the TRP chart’s top 5 spots are TV shows Anupamaa, Imlie, Ghum Hai Kisikey Pyaar Meiin, Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai and Saath Nibhaana Saathiya 2
BARC has released the TRP report for the 17th week of 2021, the chart has evaluated TV shows aired between April 24 to April 30. So without beating around the bush, Rupali Ganguly and Sudhanshu Pandey starrer Anupamaa has remained the undisputed topper of this list. The show bagging the first spot yet again has garnered 7705 impressions. Makers have introduced an interesting plot where though Vanraj is in no mood to divorce Anupamaa, he is also not letting go of Kavya.
On the second spot is the TV show Ghum Hai Kisikey Pyaar Meiin with 7655 impressions starring Neil Bhatt, Aishwarya Sharma, and Ayesha Singh. The show has been witnessing Ayesha Singh who is not ready to return to Chavan Nivas.
On the third spot with 7024 impressions is the TV show Imlie starring Sumbul Touqeer and Gashmeer Mahajani. The show has slipped from the number 2 spot to third this week. In the previous week, a lot of drama was witnessed on the show with Malini trying to commit suicide, due to the growing closeness between Imlie and Aditya, thus getting them on the spot.
Ruling the fourth spot on the TRP chart is Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai with 5467 impressions, with actor Karan Kundrra joining the lead pair Shivangi Joshi and Mohsin Khan as Ranveer on the show, the story has taken an intriguing turn thus winning the hearts of the audience.
And finally making up to the top 5 list is Saath Nibhaana Saathiya 2 with 5356 impressions.
While Super Dancer 4, Kumkum Bhagya and Kundali Bhagya are nowhere to be seen on the list, Indian Idol 12, Dance Dewaane 3, Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah and others have scored fair on the TRP charts.
