Bigg Boss OTT fame Urfi Javed is known to wear her heart on her sleeve as she never shies away from speaking her mind. Urfi has now come out in support of actress Sushmita Sen after several trolls branded her as a ‘gold digger’ for dating businessman Lalit Modi. In an exclusive interview with SpotboyE, Javed pointed out why a similar kind of trolling does not happen for a man, and why it’s always a woman who is being questioned and is trolled. 
    
Urfi Javed shared with us, “Sushmita Sen is already a rich woman. I don’t understand why people are calling her a Gold digger. She is dating a man who is slightly richer than her. People are trolling her for no reason and are calling her Gold digger which is so f**ked up. I don’t see this happening for a man out there. If a man starts dating women richer than him, nobody will make a witch hunt out of it, no one will say anything. They will not make him a monster whereas women are automatically labeled gold diggers.. as if Sushmita can’t earn for herself, as if she does not have money to buy whatever she wants. Trollers say anything. Not to forget, a netizen recently proposed Urfi Javed on Twitter in the same way Lalit had announced dating Sushmita. She replied to him in the most amusing way.  

In fact, the former Miss Universe also shut down the trolls with a hard-hitting note where she mentioned, “I dig deeper than Gold…and I’ve always (famously) preferred Diamonds!! And yes I still buy them myself!.” Sushmita received support from Bollywood celebs including Ranveer Singh, Priyanka Chopra, Neha Dhupia, Dia Mirza, and others. 

Last week, Lalit Modi announced that he and Sushmita are a couple by sharing their romantic photos from their recent trip to the Maldives. The internet, since then, has been buzzing with their relationship news.
