Shahid Kapoor who is undoubtedly one of the most fashionable men in the film industry wouldn’t have expected this to happen to him. Well, we’re referring to Diet Sabya targeting him in their latest Gandi Copy post for copying an outfit.
Yes, the actor was called out by the anonymous Instagram page as they created a collage of the original outfit and the one worn by Mr Kapoor. On Instagram, they captioned it as, #DeniedSourcingRequest : @shahidkapoor wearing a rather unfortunate copy of acclaimed international brand — Off-white — is definitely NOT the first time Kapoor has been in ‘The Chilling Adventures Of Copystaan’. But, what we can't seem to wrap our head around, is the fact that the actor (and his stylist @theanisha) continue to get copies made, by designers claiming to design couture. @anujmadaancouture looking at you. In the past, several celebrities like Alia Bhatt, Sonam Kapoor, Sanya Mahotra, Nia Sharma, Hina Khan, Divyanka Tripathi Dahiya were targeted by Diet Sabya. Some of these beauties gave it back, like, when they picked out Alia Bhatt's shoot with Filmfare magazine and compared the picture with American singer and songwriter Dua Lipa, the actress gave it back by replying, "I shot for this cover on the 6th of February 2019. If I am not mistaken the apparent "reference" was only uploaded on 24th of Feb. Not to go all true detective on you guys.. but give a girl some credit. Toodles."
Even Hina Khan and boyfriend Rocky Jaiswal had responded during a live chat session and we also can’t forget Divyanka’s lengthy post wherein she called them ‘rude to another level’ and even earned complete support from industry friends like Ekta Kapoor and Karanvir Bohra. We also are reminded of Sonam and Rhea’s post that made Diet Sabya delete the picture and apologise in return.
