Almost all big shows are slowly resuming shoots while following the unlock 1 and 2 guidelines. Ekta Kapoor’s Naagin 4, Kumkum Bhagya, Kundli Bhagya, Mere Dad Ki Dulhan, among many others begun their shoots a few days back but Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah makers were yet to begin the shoot of the show.
And now, SpotboyE.com has it that TV's most watched comedy show has finally started shooting from today. Currently, the actors (Tapu Sena) are on their filmcity set, shooting for the fresh new episodes. Tapu (Raj Anadkat), Sonu (Palak Sidhwani), Gogi (Samay Shah), Goli (Kush Shah), Pinku (Azhar Shaikh) are all on the set, ready to entertain their audience with their madness.
Recently, a source on the delay of the shoot of the comedy drama had told a media portal, "The makers are deliberating on how to go forward in the best possible way. They are worried about the safety of the cast and crew and with the restrictions in place, how to accommodate a huge cast like theirs and bank episodes. Plus, not all the cast members on the same page and have raised their respective concerns which is why the delay in resuming shoots. They are also weighing other options to shoot which is not risky and safe for all."
Meanwhile, talking to us exclusively recently about the shoots getting resumed and also addressing the issue of pay cuts, producer Asit Modi had told us, "It's true we are not resorting to pay cuts and I will try my best that in future too, that we don't have to take such measures. I will also not be forcing any of my actors to come on the set and shoot if they are uncomfortable due to the situation outside. It will be their decision and I will respect it."
Coming to the show resuming its shoot, well, we are sure Taarak fans will be delighted to hear this.
