Manmarziyaan, Mitron & Love Sonia Box-Office Collection, Day 2: Abhishek Bachchan, Taapsee Pannu & Vicky Kaushal Race Ahead
After starting off slowly, Abhishek Bachchan, Taapsee Pannu and Vicky Kaushal’s Manmarziyaan has picked up the most on Day 2. The love saga showcased an improvement of 45% and raked in Rs ₹5.11 Cr on Day 2. Trade expert Taran Adarsh took to Twitter to announce the figures. He wrote, "#Manmarziyaan witnesses a healthy 45.17% growth on Day 2, although after a low Day 1, the jump in biz should’ve been higher... North circuits are performing better... Fri 3.52 cr, Sat 5.11 cr. Total: ₹ 8.63 cr. India biz (sic)." The total collections of the film (till now) stand at Rs 5.11 crore.
SpotboyE.com  Editor, Vickey Lalwani rated Manmarziyaan 3.5 stars and was quite appreciative of the film in his review, “Anurag Kashyap makes only dark cinema. He makes characters who give gaalis in every alternate sentence. His films are complicated. His ideas are confusing. His films don't make money. Time for all these notions to be flushed down the drain. Manmarziyaan is a film which has head and heart- and if you still find it confusing or misplaced, you need to get your head and heart both examined. Confidence, the other name Taapsee Pannu.”

Moving on, Jackky Bhagnani and Kritika Kamra’s Mitron started off with ₹45 lakh on Day 1, has now collected ₹70 lakh on Saturday according to Box-Office India. The total collection of the film now stands at ₹1.15Cr. Lastly, Richa Chadha, Freida Pinto and Mrunal Thakur’s Love Sonia, which earned ₹25 lakh on Day 1, moved on to earn ₹40 lakh on Saturday. The film's total collection now stands at ₹65 lakh. SpotboyE.com  Editor, Vickey Lalwani, rated Love Sonia 2.5 stars and wrote, “It's yucky at several points, it makes you cringe several times, it leaves a bad taste in your mouth often. So, while it could be just this what happens in brothels, Tabrez Noorani's Love Sonia ends up making you feel that the filmmaker is definitely trying for an audience that loves to get only titillated.”

Meanwhile, Rajkummar Rao and Shraddha Kapoor starrer Stree has crossed the ₹100 cr mark at the box-office today. Taran Adarsh tweeted the figures on Twitter and wrote, "And #Stree hits a century... Crosses ₹ cr mark... [Week 3] Fri 2.14 cr, Sat 3.76 cr. Total: ₹ 101.43 cr. India biz... This one’s a LOTTERY for its investors (sic)."

SpotboyE.com Editor, Vickey Lalwani, in his review wrote, "Watch this film for Rao's histrionics, this man can give 4 expressions in one shot- comical, scared, romantic and dominant. That's exactly what Shraddha makes him do in the end to defeat the Stree.”
