Akshay Kumar Hopes To Inspire With Mission Mangal Just The Way Star Wars And Star Trek Did Years Ago
Mission Mangal starring Akshay Kumar, Vidya Balan, Taapsee Pannu, Nithya Menen, Sharman Joshi, and Sonakshi Sinha has been one of the aspirational projects of Akshay Kumar. But there is a very special reason for the actor to do Mission Mangal and the reason is nothing but his daughter Nitara and children of her age. Today, the 2.0 actor shared a few photos of the film that gives a gist about what will be in store.

Akshay says that he hopes to inspire as much as the film will entertain people with his upcoming release. While sharing a few posts on the film on his Twitter handle, he wrote, "#MissionMangal, a film which I hope will inspire as much as entertain. A film which I’ve done specially for my daughter and children her age to familiarise them with the incredible true story of India’s mission to Mars!"

Talking about the movie, Mission Mangal is based on the incredible true story of India's mission to Mars that was launched in 2013-2014. The film is about ordinary people achieving the extraordinary. A story that proves that creativity, ideas, and dreams have no limit, just like the sky.

As the film is going to release on Independence Day, we are about to witness one of the biggest box-office clashes of the year. Akshay Kumar’s Mission Mangal will battle it out with Prabhas starrer Saaho on August 15, i.e. on Independence Day.

While there were certain reports which stated that the makers are contemplating on rescheduling the film’s release to avert the clash, but it seems like both the films have no such plans and are ready to lock horns.
